Privacy Policy

Batt Juice is a small macOS app and this is its website. We collect as little as we can get away with, and this page lists all of it. There is no fine print beyond what you see here.

What this website collects

If you sign up to be notified about the launch, we store:

• Your email address — the one you typed in.
• When you signed up — a timestamp.
• Your country and IP address — as reported by our hosting provider when your signup arrived. We keep these to spot and clean up abusive or automated signups, nothing else.

If you just visit the site without signing up, we store nothing about you. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, trackers, or third-party scripts.

What we use it for

One thing: emailing you when Batt Juice ships. We don't send anything else, and we never sell, rent, or share the list with anyone.

Where it lives

The site and signup list are hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare acts as our service provider and keeps standard operational logs (as any host does). No other company touches this data.

How long we keep it

Until the launch announcement has gone out, after which the list has served its purpose and will be deleted, or until you ask to be removed — whichever comes first.

Your choices

Email hello@battjuice.app from the address you signed up with and we'll delete your row — email, IP, everything — and confirm when it's done. You can also ask what we hold about you; the honest answer will be the four fields listed above.

The Mac app

Batt Juice, the app, is the easy part: it collects nothing. It reads battery and power information from macOS on your machine, shows it in your menu bar, and that's the end of the story. It makes no network connections, has no accounts, no analytics, and no telemetry. Your battery data never leaves your Mac.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. Since we only hold your email for one purpose, meaningful changes are unlikely.
